Description
Penfolds, Henschke, Seppeltsfield – Barossa Valley’s iconic wineries produce some of the world’s most sought-after Shiraz. But often at stratospheric prices. The real value comes from smaller family estates, like Tscharke, whose pride in their vines and hands-on approach in the cellar shines through in their wines. Damien Tscharke produced this superb Shiraz from three vineyards (hence its name), planted by three generations of his family, in the Barossa Valley’s finest sub-regions. He spares no effort in the vineyards, farming both organically and biodynamically (in tune with nature’s cycles) to produce finest quality grapes. Matured in French oak barrels for 12 months, Tscharke is a rich, mature red on its own or with hearty dishes.
