Single Malt Irish Whiskey
distilled on the cutting edge Irish distillery, West Cork Distillers
produced in small pot stills, in batches of not up to 700 litres
aging in double-charred ex-bourbon casks, for smooth vanilla note
finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, giving fruit and nutty aromas
Nose – relatively savoury, with a touch of Parma violets. Nutty aromas of toasted seeds, caramel brittle and chocolate coated peanut
Style – woody spice and cinnamon, followed by chocolate coated peanuts, sesame snaps, nougat and marshmallows
End – at the same time as there’s depth here, the End is mellow and smooth
