Redbreast 21 year old is the fine representation of the signature Redbreast sherry style – it’s the oldest and richest permanent expression to be had.
The 21 year ageing process introduces new levels of depth, flavour and taste to create an inherently complex and in the end, rewarding whiskey.
Nose : Wealthy, rounded, spicy – prunes, quinces, Somewhat deeply caramelised apple.
Palate : Somewhat menthol alongside the anticipated spiciness and a few leather. At the tail there’s a slightly of nectarine.
Finish : Somewhat tangy fruit gives option to sweet and savoury barley notes.
