Description
Elqui Valley is Chile’s most northerly wine region, where a tract of desert has been transformed into lush, high altitude vineyards. It’s a tough place to make wine – so it’s no surprise that there’s only one commercial winery here. Winemaker Giorgio Flessati’s Italian expertise has played a big part in bringing the best out of the region’s unique climate conditions. And his brilliance shows again in this Syrah. It’s rich and silky with intense notes of ripe red fruit, spice and vanilla. Enjoy it with grilled lamb and hearty vegetarian dishes. Decanter awarded the 2018 vintage 95 points.
