Description
The quintessential Glen Garioch, Founder’s Reserve celebrates the brothers who first established the distillery and the 200 plus years of craftsmanship that goes into each bottle that bears the Manson name.
One of the crucial oldest operating distilleries in Scotland – and its most easterly – Glen Garioch (pronounced Geery within the ancient Doric dialect still spoken in these parts) has been making its mighty malt within the quaint and historic market the town of Oldmeldrum, near Aberdeen in North East Scotland, ever since 1797. Shielded from the arena’s prying eyes, deep within the fertile ‘Granary of Aberdeenshire’, and only ever produced in small, precious batches.
Warm amber in appearance, sweet vanilla and subtle spice combine with fruitier green apple and grapefruits at the nose.
