You may have tried wines from family-owned Marisco Vineyards before: they are best-known for their hugely popular label, The Ned. When owner and winemaker Brent Marris – who was also responsible for launching the well-known Oyster Bay brand – decided to expand the portfolio with a new launch, Fairhall Cliffs was the result. You won’t find a more pristine Kiwi pedigree than that. Only the best hand-picked Sauvignon Blanc grapes make it into this bottling by one of the region’s most respected winemakers. When fruit is at optimal ripeness, with bright and punchy aromatics, it’s harvested, lightly crushed and then fermented in stainless steel. Early bottling captures all its freshness, including elderflower, lemon and passion fruit notes.
