Description
Domaine Hudelot-Baillet produces a wide range of beautifully made Burgundies – from Villages through to Grands Crus. It was founded in the 1970s by Paul Hudelot Baillet. His son, Joël, took over in 1981, while the man in charge today is Dominique Leguen, his son-in-law, from Brittany. They worked together for six years, until Dominique took over in 2004. Since then, the domaine has grown hugely in reputation – from big, powerful wines to Burgundy of more elegance and finesse, with the structure and length for ageing. Critic Neal Martin wrote of the domaine, “it’s just got everything that I like about Burgundy: delicious, nuanced wines.” Enjoy here the Villages Chambolle, packed with intense , fresh fruit that will gain complexity with age.
