Description
This rare first-fill sherry cask was once matured at the Isle of Arran for 25 years, before being bottled exclusively for the United Kingdom at the cask strength of 50.2%.
Intense notes of dark chocolate and orange oil followed by roasted caramel give this outstanding Single Malt a wealthy and luxurious mouthfeel. Long lasting and memorable at the finish. It is usually a remarkably deep and dark colour.
Matured in first fill Sherry Hogshead, filled 5/8/96 with best 260 bottles to be had.
Presented of their new bespoke premium oak frame, this makes a superior, very special gift for a whisky fan.
