Aberlour A’Bunadh Alba is the closest you’ll be able to get to experiencing whisky straight from the cask. It uses only 1st fill American Oak barrels that in the past held Bourbon whisky to preserve the serious sweet flavours.
Nose: Sweet orchard fruit aromas of fresh green apple and juicy sweet pears complemented with delicate lavender honey, smooth vanilla cream and zesty sherbet lemon.
Palate: An initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit revealing wealthy all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples, followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds.
Finish: smooth and sweet with a hint of toasted almonds.
