Bushmills 30 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey, 70 cl

The Bushmills 30 Year Old is a limited edition, rare and exceptional masterpiece of high strength (46% ABV) Irish Single Malt Whiskey.
Distilled, matured, finished and bottled at the world’s oldest licenced whiskey distillery – Bushmills.
Matured in bourbon barrels and sherry butts for 14 years, then finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez casks for 16 years, to provide generations of wealthy and elegant dried fruit flavours. Pedro Ximénez is a dark Spanish fortified sweet sherry wine created from white grapes in specific regions, making every oak sherry butt incredibly rare and sought-after.
The result’s a unique dark wealthy gold whiskey, treacle toffee at the nose, then velvety smooth raisins and figs with hints of clove and orange peel at the tongue. A in point of fact delightful enjoy for the palate.
The Bushmills 30 Year Old is a once in a generation malt, the easiest articulation of Bushmills’ obsession with oak and dedication to pursuing perfection since 1608 in Irish Single Malt Whiskey.

Rex Mundi Shiraz Grenache 3 litre Wine Box Red Wine

This irresistible black beauty is finally in a handy wine box. While this red rarely lingers long in the bottle (it’s just too delicious), now there’s no chance of it tiring. The box keeps it fresh for longer, plus, as the equivalent of four-bottles-in-one box, it’s the smart way to buy. Rex Mundi (‘King of the World’) is the evil god the medieval Cathars used to fear in the craggy hills of the Roussillon. But behind this devilishly delicious wine is a very kind soul – Hervé Sabardeil, our ‘King of the Black Reds’. Don’t even try to resist the temptation of this wine, just turn the tap and enjoy its marriage of liquorice-scented Shiraz and luscious Grenache. A seductive, warming glass on its own or with hearty, full-flavoured dishes.
