Islay single malt Laphroaig 10 year old Whiskey is aged for ten years and made according to the traditions established by a series of dedicated and competent master distillers over the last 200 years. This single malt Scotch is prepared from malted barley that has been cold-smoked and then dried over a peat fire. Laphroaig’s distinctive rich flavour comes from the smoke of the peculiar Islay peat. The strong, smoky flavour of this peated whisky is followed by a whiff of seaweed and a surprise sweetness. It embodies the typical Laphroaig flavour, being full-bodied with a lengthy finish. With notes of peat smoke and salt, this is the typical Islay malt. It’s still distilled the same way it was when it was invented over a thousand years ago.
