Description
Tasting Notes “The most complex nose of any Single Malt Scotch Whisky.” – Michael Jackson Cragganmore was founded in 1869 by a gentleman called John Smith who had previously managed Macallan Glenlivet and Glenfarclas. Suffice to say he knew what he was doing. He installed flat-topped stills to increase the complexity and built a railway that made Cragganmore the first Scotch to be delivered by rail. And it has been an innovative dram ever since. The legendary whisky and beer writer Michael Jackson wasn’t wrong about the complexity of the nose. Crafted with lightly smoked malt Cragganmore 12 Year Old presents notes of Sherry nutty brittle malted milk biscuits marmalade granola blossom roasted chestnuts floral honey dew-laced herbs hedgerows vanilla sandalwood and comforting wood-fire smoke. We could go on but it’s best to find these things out for yourself… Product Details Country: Scotland Alcohol by volume (ABV): 43% Volume: 700ml
